We went to Trader Joe's (a really neat grocery store up in Tacoma) today. They've got some really interesting and cheap items. I bought wine for $3 a bottle! I also bought blueberry and strawberry juice for the kids and some yummy ginger animal cookies. Nana loved it, too, and bought some special things for us and for herself.
The kids ate and ate at dinnertime. It was a joy to watch. Andi had at least five helpings of mac and cheese, and Nicholas finished off half an orange after he ate the rest of his dinner. They both had the aforementioned animal cookies, and Nana was talking about the mane on the lion cookie. She asked, "Does the lion have a mane?" He said, "Yeah! His name is Milkshake!" We laughed and wondered where that came from! Cute.
We're on Dry Pants Day 3 for Nicholas! Hooray! Nana said that when Andi goes on the potty, she comments on the shower curtain. She'll say, "Pretty flowers" every time.
