Today we picked up Grandma C and Grandpa D (Chris' mom and stepdad) at the airport, then headed up to Seattle for the afternoon. We had an amazing lunch at the Cheesecake Factory: eggplant sandwich, halibut, chicken, grilled cheese sandwich and of course cheesecake were our picks. Everything was so delicious. The kids were fine, except for an excessive amount of wiggliness form Nicholas and having to chase Andi through the restaurant at one point. Nothing unusual!
After lunch we walked down to Pike's Place Market, where we enjoyed the brisk but sunny weather. Andi fell asleep in the back pack before we got down there, and slept soundly until we returned to the car an hour or so later. The sights, sounds, and smells are a joy to take in (well, except for some of the fishy smells!).
