Pleasant Day

Today we went to a Military Mom's Group. I drank tea and ate bagels, chatted with the other moms and just sat there while the kids played in a separate room with a sitter. I think we all had fun. Afterwards, we went on post for a special Kidsfest celebration that was being held at the roller skating rink. There were tons of booths, crafts, and goodies for the kids. They brought home firefighter helmets, stickers, balloons, pencils, crayons, and even two cute little dolls. We also brought home a paddle ball toy, which the dogs found endlessly amusing. Unfortunately it was pouring rain, so we didn't get to check out the fire truck, police car, and Army tractors that Nicholas was dying to see.

Tonight was pleasant. Both were in good moods and were entertained by all the new little toys they had. Andi was great today...she only had one real tantrum. Nicholas was his usual self: silly, curious, goofy, upset, sweet, and sometimes kinda mean, too.
