Beach Day

Thank goodness we had something fun to do today while we wait for our sweetie to come in tonight. We went with some friends from Mom's Club to a state park that's just a few miles from our house. First we munched on our picnic lunch, then we went exploring on the beach during low tide. We saw lots of crabs, big and tiny, and found many sand dollars. The kids LOVED it, and so did I. I think we'll be spending a lot of our summertime down there. We were all dirty when we got home, but a quick bath fixed that. When the kids wake from their nap, we'll start getting ready to go pick up Chris from the airport. Oh boy! I can't believe it's finally here!
