We had a busy but fun and social day today. We started off with breakfast at a friend's house, where we enjoyed pancakes, bacon, fruit and even mimosas (the kids just enjoyed orange juice, of course!). Nicholas got to play with Star Wars toys and Andi got to hug a baby, so everyone was happy.
This evening I had four fellow lonely wives (their husbands are all deployed with Chris) over for a Mother's Day Fiesta...a Mexican potluck. The kids ran wild, we talked, and ate too much. It was a terrific way to spend Mother's Day.
