The Big Hike

Our big day of hiking was spent scaling Ben Lomond, one of the tallest peaks surrounding Ogden. To say it was challenging for me would be the understatement of the year. However, I'll always be glad I stuck with it (and grateful for Chris' encouragement) and saw the view from the top. Some interesting things we saw: a mountain goat running, rocks in every color, a bluebird, more wildflowers than I knew existed, a "v" of geese from above, and a small plane that flew by at eye level, tipped its wing to us and then did a loop!
