So tired! We did too much today, I'm afraid. We went grocery shopping, mailed a box to Chris, then went to a Brigade picnic, then home, then made dinner, then had my friend Shelly over (and her kids plus two more that she was babysitting), then cleaned it all up, then gave baths, now going to collapse. I'll keep my promise to myself to relax a little more tomorrow.
Andi was able to enjoy another bouncy house at the picnic today, and Nicholas even ventured in after a detailed explanation of how it operates and some serious thought about the whole thing. He would go in, bounce once, and then come right back out. Funny guy. We won a raffle prize: 3 tickets to a place called Wolf Haven. They had some boardwalk games set up, which Nicholas enjoyed, and each kid got cake, lollipops, hot dogs, and little prizes. It was pretty fun.
The kids had the worst nutritional day ever, I think. Nicholas ate a good dinner, but it was followed up by ice cream, then an Otter Pop from our neighbor Bruce. Oh, and Saturdays are chocolate milk day, so guess what they had for breakfast! Oh well. A bad day once in a while isn't going to kill 'em.
