Happy Birthday, Chris!

We spent Chris' birthday at Grammy and Pop's house, where we played, played and played some more. Nicholas couldn't wait to have a turn at all the fun things there are to do there. He rode on Sparky, the little truck, dug in the sand, played in the beans and with as many toys with wheels as he could find. Kathie and Gene treated us to some delicious home-made pizza. We had a little birthday celebration in Chris' honor and talked about how next year we'll be able to celebrate with Daddy. None of us wanted to leave, but I was finally able to wrangle the kids into the car at the end of a great day. Both kids were totally zonked out within 5 minutes!
