Well, I think we're all packed up and ready to go to California tomorrow. It's a big job. The kids were so wound up tonight; I guess they're excited. They made at least 50 laps through the kitchen and back out to the living room. Maybe they'll sleep well in the car tomorrow. We're planning on swimming at the hotel so they can get some good exercise tomorrow night.
Today was a special day for us. Chris was promoted to Major, and we were able to take part in the ceremony by videoteleconference. Now I can call him my Major Sweetie. Nicholas looked at the pixilated screen full of Army guys and said, "There's a bunch of daddys!" Cute.
