My Playdate with Shannon

Today my friend Shannon drove up from Vancouver, WA to spend the day with us. I started by dropping the kids off at a friend's house for the morning, then we met at a local business called Dinners Done Right, where we made 12 meals to stick in the freezer for later. (We'll soon be enjoying Sweet and Sour Meatballs, Pork Tenderloin, and Chicken Cacciatore, plus 9 other meals!) We treated ourselves to Mexican food, then got the kids and went home to rest before venturing to the PX and playground. It was a nice day...it's always so fun when "Aunt Shannon" comes to play!
