The party went so well, even with 15 kids and 10 adults. Our house was crowded, but everyone was happy. It always amazes me when you put that many little kids in a small room and there are no big meltdowns, fights, or other scuffles, just an occasional "We need to share!" We had all the usual trimmings, as you can see below in the photos, including cake, plenty of presents (thanks, everyone!), pizza and games. Nicholas was a bit overwhelmed in the beginning, but shortly got into it, especially after the cake and presents came out. We all had a great time. Andi seems to thrive in that kind of environment; she's a natural-born party girl (uh-oh...trouble ahead?).
We have another reason to celebrate: Chris accepted the job at Cardinal Glass Company here in Tumwater. He has just another month or so to go in the Army, then it's the big switch to civilian life. It's exciting and strange, and will be an entirely new situation for us.
On an unrelated note, Andi and I were in the grocery store today when she turned to me, gave me a hug and said, "You the best monkey in the whole world." I'm honored!
