A Big Hike

Several weekends ago we took an inadvertently long hike near Salt Lake in search of a rock climbing area. The trail was difficult and slippery, but the kids did so well. They both had great attitudes, even when they slipped on the rocks. Once we found the climbing area, they played in a nearby tree while Chris and I climbed a little. We only had a few tears at the end when Nicholas just got too hot and fell one too many times, but he was happy again once we made it back to the truck.
