The Park and the Wharf

When visiting Monterey, we love to spend time at the Dennis the Menace park, one of the very best playgrounds I've ever been to (and believe me, I've been to a lot of playgrounds!). It has tunnels, bridges, a large climbing wall, a maze, and even a real train engine. We took a picnic this time, then took a walk along the nearby wharf, and completed a great afternoon with ice cream for all.
