The Overpriced Pumpkin Patch

In years past, a trip to the pumpkin patch was a cheap outing for the Moore family. Unfortunately, those days are over now that we're here in Utah. We drove 45 minutes to a farm that boasted many attractions, from pig races to a hay ride, only to discover that it would cost us over $30 just to visit the kid's corn maze, the hay slide, and the petting zoo. I talked Chris into it anyway, hoping for a memorable autumn outing. I guess I should consider it money well spent, because the kids had a great time, but I just couldn't get over the money we shelled out for an hour's "entertainment". I'm still not over it...can you tell?
