Our Trip to Jackson Hole, WY

In June, my parents flew up to meet us for a week in Jackson Hole. My family has spent a week in early summer there since I was about 10 years old, so it was especially fun to share all of my favorite activities with my kids. Some of the many things we did:
  • Rode in a stagecoach
  • Toured a fish hatchery
  • Saw elk, buffalo, moose and antelope
  • Listened to a lecture about bats (Andi raised her hand and asked a question at the end--with an audience of 100 adults!)
  • Went to a chuckwagon dinner and listened to amazing musicians afterward
  • Fed the birds from our deck
  • Played on several playgrounds
  • Saw a shootout
  • Rode in a boat
  • Ate too many treats to count
  • Soaked in the hot tub
  • Read uninterrupted
  • Laughed an awful lot
  • Played baseball in the parking lot
  • Put together crafts that Mimi brought
  • Went to several visitor's centers
  • Hiked up a hill to see a waterfall
  • Looked for birds
  • Looked at art galleries
  • Saw a movie

Thanks, Mom and Dad, for the wonderful week. What nice memories we made! Thanks, also, to Catherine and Dominick for allowing us to travel in luxury in your comfortable car. It made the whole trip so pleasant.
